Austin Lemonade Day 2011
We had a whole lot of fun sampling lemonade from two of the lemonades stands around town today for Lemonade Day. Our favorite was Bee Sweet's lemonade which is made with honey and flax. Delicious! It won an award for the most creative recipe from Sweet Leaf tea and they proudly displayed their gold trophy.
I love the idea of supporting young entrepreneurs. What a sweet way to encourage our youth to put their ideas to work and do something good for the community.
Mikala Ulme, of Bee Sweet is donating part of the proceeds to the Texas Beekeeper's Association.
