We went to the Austin Farmers' Market at the Triangle today to pick up our CSA box and braved the cold so that we could also pick up a little honey and the last strawberries picked at Markley Farms before the freeze. They are SO good and we bought as many as we could so that the farmer was closer to enjoying the heat of his truck on the way home! We plan to eat them fresh as well as freeze some for smoothies.
There were only a handful of farmers at the market today and we wanted to buy something from all of them just to support their efforts in the freezing cold weather today.
